I rented the text book in a Kindle version, but it has turned out to be a nightmare. The Kindle format is not suited to this material. You cannot see a full page of the text except in a microscopic view and this is material where you need to see the full page and flip back and forth. None of the usually great Kindle technology seems to work in the rented Kindle version of the text. You cannot apply any of the formatting changes. Beware accounting students! Fork out the money and get the hard copy of this book. The Kindle version was a huge mistake and a complete waste of money.
Needed the 4th ed for class. Bought this, which is the 2nd ed for much cheaper. Turns out there were virtually no changes in editions. Even the case studies are the same. Great buy.
